Larrison Family Mortuaries has been serving the Pratt and Medicine Lodge area community for many years. We’re thankful to be an important part of this community and will continue our longstanding legacy of helping families honor their loved ones.
Larrison Mortuary was founded by Jerry and Karellen Larrison in 1978 when they purchased Williams Mortuary (now named Larrison Mortuary) in Pratt, KS. The Larrisons have a son, Eric, that joined the family business in 1990 as a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer.
In 1994, the Larrison's purchased Forsyth Funeral Home (now named Larrison Funeral Home) in Medicine Lodge, KS.
In the summer of 2001, the Larrisons built a new facility to replace the old outdated mortuary in Pratt. The new mortuary was designed and staffed for maximum flexibility.
In September of 2021, the Larrisons added a state of the art crematory to their location in Pratt. The crematory is fully automated with filter technology and continual emissions control.
